We founded Skerries Bistro out of a deep love for all food that is fresh, healthy, and authentic. We do food simply and strive to make a unique dining experience with our stunning seaview location. 


Having started Skerries Bistro in 2007 in a conservatory by the house, we bought a previously owned glass modular building in 2013 and transported it to Orkney by road and sited it 80 metres from the cliff. We will have 5 tables available on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday evening for the 2023 season. 


Skerries Bistro

We buy crabs and lobsters live and cook them ourselves to make sure they are the freshest. Our fish is line caught and sustainable. Salmon is purchased direct from the Orkney Salmon farm whole, filleted here and cold  smoked on our premises.  The rainbow trout is being farmed in Rousay and we are hot smoking this on the premises. We make all our bread, desserts and cakes.
